Who We Are
Merkel Public Library system is located at 100 Kent Street in downtown Merkel, Texas. Merkel Public Library provides free services to all residents living within the city.
The library's collection holds over 9,300 items including books, video, audio materials. Currently we are in the process of cataloging the collection online.
The library has 4 public computers with Internet access, and 1 computer for children.

Our Mission
The Merkel Public Library seeks to provide a secure environment for life long learning, expand our availability to the community as a whole, and better inform the community of the services they have access to.
